About Amarillis Velez

Hi. I’m Amarillis Velez. I became a Personal Family Lawyer because I’m passionate about helping and empowering families and individuals create happy and secure futures while living richer lives today.

In my practice, I focus on Family Protection, Wealth Preservation, and Value-Based Planning. I’m also experienced with wealth planning strategies for unmarried couples and divorced individuals.

Whether you are married or single, a traditional family or a blended one, starting out or looking back on a life well-lived, I will help you to craft a plan that achieves your goals for your loved ones today and for years to come.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude and hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. I also graduated from Barry Law School in 2015. Being an attorney is my second career and prior to opening my law practice, I served the public interest as a Federal Government Auditor, providing several auditing services to the Federal procurement community. I also provided technical direction and guidance to criminal investigators and prosecutors regarding procurement fraud, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

I love educating my community on the topics of Estate Planning, Guardian Nomination, and Asset Protection. I am an active member of the Florida Bar, Orange County Bar Association, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and The Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law.

And most importantly, I am the proud mother of Bella and Emma.
